time to ride our magic bus through our neighborhood
we need all our percussion instruments to play magic bus
make a 3 page accordion book : side by side they make our neighborhood
we will draw sun and moon in our skies
our skies will cycle from rainy to sunny
time to make rainsticks and thunder clappers
what makes rain? when water gets hot it turns to humid air :
this process is evaporation : the hot humid air goes up forming
clouds : cold air blows over the clouds : the hot humid air cools :
turns back to water and falls to earth : what makes lightning?
real cold air makes ice in the cloud : the ice begins bumping into
each other creating electrical shocks that go down hitting trees
and other tall things : what else happens? as lightning goes
down it makes sound waves called thunder : light moves faster
than sound so you see lightning before hearing the thunder
